Rob did a video conference meeting for another club and went into a lot of detail about modern rigs.  His main point is that receivers in most modern rigs are all excellent, but transmitters are a mess.  Lots of advice for consideration for Field Day sites.

I’ve noticed there is at least one station in my area with a really noisy signal that interferes with weak signal work.  Usually I’m working someone at the time and haven’t had a chance to track down the source of the signal.
