[SJRA-Members] 5th Monday Fusion Net

The next 5th Monday Fusion Net will be held this Monday the 31st of August at 8:00 PM on the K2UK repeater 146.865 MHz in DN mode.  Please turn off AMS and activate your GPS or stored location data.  If the WiresX linking system is operational the K2AA repeater will be tied to K2UK and you can access the net from either repeater or with your Yaesu Portable Digital Node.  Please note that Monday and all future 5th Mondays this Net will originate from K2UK to be consistent with the Thursday night Fusion nets.

As usual this Net will be general conversation with user offered topics, however this Monday we have a few interesting and relevant Fusion topics for your consideration.  Those with a name and call sign following the topic description will be led by that individual if present on the Net.  Otherwise John WY2J will fill in.

1.  Call in to last Thursday’s Fusion Net by Steve EI2GT Dermot in Limerick and Steve EI5DD in Galloway City Ireland.  First Fusion Net connection with SJRA’s sister club. Establishment of CQ Ireland.  Possible early afternoon weekend Fusion net to solve the 5 hour time problem. (Art N2CPR and / or Roy WB2EOD)

2. Experiences of Jack  WA2HJG and Rick W2JAZ with their new PDN on the WiresX network.  (Jack WA2HJG and / or Rick W2JAZ)

3.  Experiences of SJRA members using America Link or other large networks on WiresX via repeaters or PDN.  (Any member with relevant experience.)
