Hello Matt,
I can't answer your survey, because I'm not sure what DMR is.  I do have a Yaesu FTM 400 XD radio.  Does this fit the definition?

I tried doing some quick, on-line research, but what I found were presentations that jumped right into very technical descriptions without starting with the basics.
