If anyone is interested in a slow speed (under 13 wpm) cw sprint- the FISTS organization has their Slow Speed Sprint this Saturday (February 2nd) starting at noon eastern time.

 

The event lasts four hours.  Suggested calling frequencies are listed on the FISTS website.

 

You do not have to be a FISTS member to participate.

Callers will send:  CQ CQ FS de (CALL)     (FS is for FIST Sprint)

The exchange is simple:

FIST MEMBERS: RST,  STATE (Province), Name, Fist Number

Non FIST member:  RST,  STATE(Province),, Name, Power (5W, 100W, 1KW etc)

No faster than 13WPM!!  

Get out there and make some QSOs!

Also take interest in the FISTS Activity Day, a good way to get out there and make some QSO’s.
