[SJRA-Members] Club QSO Party Rules

Hi all
      Amateur Radio Club QSO Party rules are attached.   The objectives are to publicize all participating radio clubs ages & history while encouraging activity on the bands and club station activation.

     This year's party will be held on Oct 13th 1800 UTC (14:00 EDST)  to Oct 14th 1759 UTC (13:59 EDST).  

     The objective is to work as many Amateur Radio Club members as possible and Listed Amateur Radio Club Stations.   

       ( a list of Clubs registering to participate will be provided soon as well as a signup list for SJRA members who wish to operate as K2AA/102 during the party.) 

        The rules have been changed a bit to make it easier for you to participate.   Some highlights of the changes are:
- shorter event lasting 24 hours
- fall date that avoided Father's Day
- contacts made operating your club call count for your individual score
- simple exchange - Club members Call/(club age) + Club Acronym    (SJRA for example)
                             -non-Club members    Call + Name
- sections will not be needed, nor used as a multiplier.  
- summaries need to be submitted by Nov 14, 2018 to count for awards.  
 
     Please share this message with Clubs who you think might be interested in participating as they need to register by Oct 10.
