Get ready for SJRA Club QSO Party next weekend Oct 13-14

A Clubs need to submit a count of their members and a planned operations schedule by Oct 10 (see rules)
send an email to clubQSO at SJRA.org

B SJRA members please sign up to take an hour or more operating K2AA/102 from your home station. Any hours, any modes from 18:00 UTC (14:00 EDST) Oct 13th to 17:59 UTC (13:59 EDST) Oct 14th. This year all contacts made using K2AA/102 will also count towards your own personal QSO count. Multiplier will be number of unique club members worked and will count only once as a multiplier. So great incentive to operate the club station this year - Ken will update the sign up list as he receives requests.

send an email to ken at k2wb.com to pick times best suited to you.

C Ken, K2WB has identified a simple logging procedure if you use N1MM+

Look at attached N1MM Setup screens attached

Use DX Mode
Set the start date and time
Select SSB+CW+Digital
Enter SJRA in the "sent exchange" window
Something similar should work with other logging programs.

After the contest Export File as follows:

Click on File,
Click on Export,
Click on Export File (Generic)
Click on Export File Order by QSO Time
Name the file

D Recommended frequencies +/- 5khz please be aware and polite to nets and others.

CW 1.805, 3.550, 7.050, 14.050, 21.050, 28.050
Phone 1.865, 3,850, 7.225, 14.250, 21.300, 28.450
FT8 1.840, 3.573, 7.074, 14.074, 21.074, 28.074

6 meters 50.150, 2 meters 144.260 the SJRA net meeting frequencies
K2AA repeater 145.290 PL 91.5 (repeater use is approved by SJRA Trustee for this event)
I recommend we make an effort to check the repeater at the top and/or half of each hour

Finally, various members of the club will send emails and spots letting you know where and when they will be operating. Those using email keep in mind it may take a while for those messages to be received.

Thanks for reading this far, look for additional info prior to next Saturday 2PM EDST. We think there may be at least six other clubs competing. I hope to work you next weekend, good luck to all

John, W2FDJ
