Dick, it's May... well past April 1. Use caution... the newly licensed hams who are test question memorizers cannot discern between ham radio facts and fake news.

Because of heavy usage during the recent contest season, certain segments of the band have been sagging under the load, and those wavelengths have started to stretch from the weight. These will be tightened up. The 40 and 80 meter bands will also be closed for maintenance to find and remove some of the debris left behind by QSO disruptors using foul language.
> Dick Gaul - K2GMY, an avid contester, has noticed that the space between LSB (lower sideband) and USB (upper sideband) is not being utilized. He has developed a mode called MSB (middle sideband). That will also be tested on these bands today only. If you hear him, he will send you a special QSL card. If you hear him testing on all three bands, he will send you a free commemorative QSL cup. ($11.95 postage)
