Here's a message from Mario, N2AK, concerning last night's presentation:



Hi guys,

If you missed the DMR demo we had Wed night, I attached the power point
slides.
If you have any questions or would like a hands-on demo, let me know and we
can
get that done.

One thing I forgot to mention is that since DMR uses 2 digital channels on
one rf link.
A user with an h/t will get about half as much battery drain compared to
other modes
and that makes for a nice feature in portable use.

The main thing I like about DMR is that there are so many users  available
to tap into.
The way they organized the "Talk Groups"  also makes it easy to contact
your favorite
groups of people.
