[SJRA-Members] 10 Meter Contest starts tonight at 7PM runs till 7PM Sunday - Next contest list attached.

Hi,
    Attached is next Contest list for the Dec 19 meeting.   

    Tonight at 7PM EST the ARRL 10 meter North American contest begins and runs for 48 hours.  You can operate a maximum of 36 hours.   While activity on 10 meters may be low there certainly will be some opportunities to make contacts, especially local ones.  

    To that end I would like to recommend that SJRA members who want to see if your rig still works on 10 meters to turn it on and listen around the following hours and frequency.   

   28.330 Mhz  + or - 10khz depending on activity. 

   Friday nite  -  8PM,  10PM,   Midnight

   Saturday    -  2PM,   4PM,  6PM,   8PM,  10PM

   Sunday     -  2PM,  4PM,   6PM  

  CW or Phone can be used,   

  The exchange is Signal report and state  ,  multipliers will be number of states or provinces

 Log or write down your contacts and file later within 7 days of end of contest.    A small number of contacts could possibly be sufficient to take 1st place in Southern New Jersey.    See ya on 10mtrs
