A tip from a friend in Texas. Amazon is blowing out the Baofeng dual band
HTs for $25! Of course it’s a Baofeng so,your mileage may vary.

I read on some site, that some Baofengs would no longer be available, due to
non-compliance with some service (probably FRS or GMRS).

So I decided to grab two off Amazon.
They transmit on 2m/70cm, FRS and GMRS and perhaps anything in between.
$25 on Amazon. Buy two for free shipping!
Like I need another radio!  8^)

The free Chirp software is useable.
I bought a ‘factory’ cable to hook to the PC. There’s a lot of bogus ones
out there. Let me know if you need a link to the good one.
