[SJRA-Members] 2M SSB Hybrid Voice / Text Net

The first SJRA experimental SSB Hybrid Voice / Text net will start up tomorrow Thursday the 2nd at 8:00 PM on 144.270 MHz USB with PSK-31 digital modulation and a 1.0 KHz digital subcarrier.  Matt N2IDW in Cherry Hill will be your host and control operator and will provide on the air explanation on how the net will operate.  Please set up PSK-31 on your rig in advance of the net and test it on 20 M, 14.070 MHz if possible.  Join us for an interesting experiment that may eventually significantly extend the range of this net over SSB voice only.  Expect to learn something new and experience a failure or two before we get it right.  We are engineering on the fly with your help.
