The next SJRA 2 meter SSB experimental net will be held tomorrow Thursday the 18th of May at 8:00 PM on 144.270 MHz USB, simplex and vertical polarization. Art N2CPR will be your host and control operator. Join us for some interesting ham radio or other conversation of your choice.
Since this an experimental net, the second of three, the focus will be on solving technical and operational problems before the net becomes fully operational on the third Thursday in July. If you want to evaluate different antennas or rigs in a live net environment this is the time and place to do it. Just keep in mind this is a vertically polarized net using omni directional azimuth plane antennas. We are not going to fight the polarization wars of the 1950's again. Also getting all stations on frequency will be done by zero beating net control with your transmit VFO. Turn off split, rit and clairifiers. Just rock your transmit VFO to take the Donald Duck sound off of N2CPR's voice, no one else's.
