There still seems be some confusion on the 2017 net schedule regarding the 5th Monday's and Thursday's where they exist.  There are no nets on these days.  The 2 meter FM net meets at 8:00 PM on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Monday's.  The 2 meter Fusion net meets at 8:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday's.  The 10 meter SSB net meets at 8:00 PM on the 3rd Thursday only.  The schedule remains constant from month to month.  This gives us 7 nets total each month run by 6 control operators.  Thanks to Art N2CPR who does double duty with the 2nd and 3rd Thursday's we can maintain this schedule but it is tight.  I would sure like one more so we can better fill missing control operators due to vacations or sickness.  Give it a thought and e-mail to me at the address below if you would like to give it a try as a control operator, especially if you are a frequent participant on these nets.

The new schedule and mode seems to have worked out well for January.  For 6 of the 7 nets where I have logs, here are some participation numbers.  1.  Average all 6 nets = 11.7.  2.  Average 2M FM = 12.0.  3.  Average 2M Fusion = 12.5.  4.  10M SSB = 9.0.  My target for each is net is 12 which gives each participant 5 minutes air time and still fits the nets  into about 1 hour each.
