[SJRA-Members] 2 M Net Correction and Addition

As most of you know the 22nd date in yesterday's e-mail is wrong, the net is tonight Monday the 21st.  Sorry about the error.

There may be some confusion about the mode for this and future nets.  It's plain old FM.  There are too few Fusion radios in the stations that call into this net.  Of the six net control stations, we have only four that have Fusion capability that I am aware of.  It may be a few years until we can switch this net to digital.  However we should be able to use the Wires X network while running the net in FM mode to expand the quantity and diversity of net participants so long as it doesn't become a major distraction.  I told Joe KC2TN that I would like to try this out for a few weeks and see what we learn.  So if the K2AA node and SJRA room are connected during tonight's net we may get a few "DX" station calls.  This would be great to let others know about our 100th, future QSO Party and who we are.  Net control stations should be prepared to welcome outside callers, briefly discuss these SJRA events and most important wait a few seconds between turn overs for the Wires X network to do its network thing.  We have a lot of stations that are fast on the PTT button.  See you on the net tonight.
