Many of you may recall the presentation that Joe, N2CX made about reviving
the Elmer 101 Project and associated 30 meter SW30+ kit. While it has taken
them a while to get this project up and running they now are making
available a limited number of kits along with ongoing tutorials on the Chat
With the Designers. All episodes are archived online. What follows is the
info Joe just sent me.I just ordered mine.

We have about 65 builders of the SW30+ Kit now! The latest batch shipped
just this morning, so everyone will start seeing the package in their
mailboxes soon.

Before you start the construction stage, be sure to download and use the
latest version of the CWTD SW30+ Assembly Manual from the website. (It
will be further updated by Sunday evening.)

Suggestion … In order to stay in-sync with the CWTD “Elmer 101” program,
builders might want to JUST do assembly steps 1, 2 & 3 next week. The
discussion on our next show (June 14) will focus on these first 3 steps,
and the circuit analysis and testing of the VFO stage. We’ll also cover
assembly of AA0ZZ’s nifty red “Small Wonder Enclosure”, because if you’re
anything like Joe and me, you’ll want to see this thing in a near completed
state as soon as possible!

So if you want to get an SW30+ Transceiver Kit and play along with us in
the CWTD Elmer 101 program series, we still have some available. But when
they’re gone, they’re gone.
