Matthew L. Merry W2MAT (SK) age 87 of Moorestown passed away on April 11,
2016. Born in Lawrence, Kansas, he was a longtime resident of Moorestown.
Matt was an Army Veteran serving his country during the Korean Conflict, and
was a retired self-employed entrepreneur. He was a member of Maple-Shade
Moorestown Lodge #281 F.&A.M., an avid ham radio operator, a member of
Burlington County Radio Club and the South Jersey Radio Club. Matt enjoyed
dancing, fishing and hunting.

Son of the late Matthew and Marjorie Merry, loving father of the late Peggy
Merry (who passed away on February 20, 2016), brother of the late John
Merry, he is survived by his beloved wife Julia (Sheila) (nee McAuliffe)
Merry, his cherished granddaughter Jessica (Paul) King and his dear great
granddaughter Lennon King.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with his
family on Friday evening, April 15th 6-8 pm at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL
HOME, 38 N. Forklandig Rd., Maple Shade. A Masonic funeral service will be
held at 8 pm. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made
to Mt. Holly Chapter of the O.E.S. #147, 15 Garden St., Mt. Holly, NJ 08060.
