Greeting from Arizona!
My name is Jeffrey Harris (K2DFE) son of Wilson Harris (K2DFE sk). I'm an
officer in the Superstition ARC here in Mesa AZ. (superstitionarc.org). I
am sort of a "chip off the old block" of my father. He taught me
electronics at an early age for which i am so grateful as it has enabled me
to make a wonderful career as a audio engineer, acoustic consultant and
designer. He also sparked my interest in Amateur Radio. Dad was a long time
member of SJRA and I remember well going to club meeting and especially
Field Day!  It took me a long time to get my ticket but as soon as I did I
applied for K2DFE in his honor. I have been the Field Day coordinator for
our club for a few years and actually worked K2AA with Mary on FD two years
ago. I wish you had an EchoLink node to your repeater; it would be great
fun to log into your net.  I was recently going through family photographs
and found the attached copy of the SJRA 50th anniversary event. I looked at
the timeline page of your website and did not see a reference of the
"Banquet and Gala Celebration" .I hope you enjoy it if you don't have a
copy in your archives.
