[SJRA-Members] Amplifier help

Hello All,
I recently aquired a Yaesu FT-101 E series (which works well) and a Yaesu FLdx-2000 amplifier. When I follow the instructions to tune it up I get no output. It was recently known to be working. This is my first time using an amp that isn't solid state and I'll be honest; I'm scared to death of this thing. 
Rather than go back and forth through email a million times with Q & A, I would greatly appreciate if someone could spare some time to look under the hood and help me with hands on training. I am available and can come to you most weekends as well as Mon., Wed., and Fri. evenings. If you look me up on QRZ and decide I am close enough for you, you are more than welcome to drop in.
