Joseph "Joe" David Duffin
 
AGE: 87  Moorestown
 
Joseph "Joe" David Duffin, 87, of Moorestown, NJ, formerly of
Haddonfield and Ventnor, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013. Joe was
born July 23, 1925 in Philadelphia and received his degree in
engineering from Catholic University in 1949. He served 4 years in the
U.S. Navy, and worked for RCA-GE for more than 35 years. Joe was a
lifelong Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Good Council. His many
interests include Ham radio, and stamp collecting.
 
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Cornelia, and his children, Mary
(Joe) Good, Joe (Ada), Jeanne (Bill London), Kevin (Patty), David
(Dawn), Eileen, Kathleen (Terry) Partin, Patricia (Sean) Higgins,
Cornelia (Sean Gallagher), Tim (Carol), Tom (Grace), Dennis, John
(Sara), 37 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
 
The family would suggest memorial donations be made to St. John of God,
1145 Delsea Dr., Westville, NJ 08093. Relatives and friends are invited
to attend his viewing and visitation with the family Sunday afternoon
from 2:00 to 4:00PM and Monday Morning from 9:00-10:00AM at McChesney
Funeral Home, 30 W. Main St., Moorestown, NJ. Funeral Mass at Our Lady
of Good Counsel Church, Main Street, Moorestown, NJ at 10:30am on
Monday. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
