Ted,
On behalf of our dad, the Duffins want to inform SJRA that our dad, Joseph
D Duffin, W2ORA, passed away on Fathers Day evening. Plans are in works and
we should have announcement in local newspapers soon. Please pass on news
to all members, especially the senior members who interacted directly with
our dad over those years.
All of his 13 children at one time or another went to the SJRA meetings in
the high school, went to hamfest yearly, put together Harmonics, talked on
the radio to around the world, put up with the tv interference when dad was
on the AIR.
My dad always loved ham radio and his time with SJRA.
