[SJRA-Members] Looking for working Yeasu FT 101

Good Afternoon SJRA

 

I had for a short while a Yeasu FT 101 E. 

I gave it to a technician to repair. But he made me an offer on a

IC 706 Even UP.

 

At the time it was a good deal but I liked the radio. (FT101)

And now I would like to have a working version of that radio.

When the FT101 worked I had great reports and the audio was pleasing.

It seemed to pick up everything.

I had a couple of people say that they were going to the back room to dust
off their old FT101 too.

 

It let me know how things were before just turn it on and go.

 

I am not the electronic wizard that I might like to be so.

I could use help with the following.

 

Finding, owning, operating, help with this Vintage Radio. 

 

Any input would be appreciated.
