I just spoke to Dan's wife, the accident did indeed occur last
evening about 9:00 p.m. It was a mosquito spraying helicopter
for that crashed into the tower, the pilot ended up in the lot
next door and was killed.
His house has been taped as a crime scene, investigators have
been there all day long. Local Fox News reported that it was a
private Tower someone's lot with no lighting, insinuating that
something was illegal about it. There were even comments by the
governor of Florida about this accident.
Dan and Mary Ann are quite upset by all of this, as one can
imagine.
