A few asked about the book that I shared a picture of on Facebook titled 9M6AAC.

The actual book is difficult to acquire (as of now) however I do have a copy in a PDF file.

If anyone would like me to send one to you, please drop me an email. The file is around 9mb as I recall.

It shows the history of the Hillview Gardens ARC station which was started by Alfons 9M6MU and Doris 9M6DU.

Lots of pictures.

They have long been good friends “far away”.

I had a lot to do with the station back in the 80’s and 90’s. It has since closed but is being somewhat recreated at “Eagle Plateau” not too far from the original site.

My first visit to 9M6MU was in 1980 when Gary Medford N2CW and John Ackley KP2A and John’s XYL Carol joined me for our first activity from the station well before it became Hillview Gardens.

I returned in 1989, 1990, 1991 (Honeymoon with Beth), 1997, 1999 and 2003.

I would like to go back someday. My 9M6OO license is still alive! Who knows???
