Subject: Work Party Results - Wednesday November 12 - 9:30 a.m.
Importance: High
Our first work party of the 160 season is in the books. All objectives completed.
Attendees: KE2D, KI7WX, N2OO, W2CG, W2GD, W2NO, W2RQ
WX: Delightfully dry, some clouds, and thankfully no wind. Salt marsh at blow out tide levels. No standing water around the base of the tower. Fresh water marsh areas dry as well. Temperatures 45 to 53F.
Having many hands made the work go quickly. The beverage and Hi-Z cabling was completed in record time. The two el. TX antenna is exhibiting normal SWR curves.
Just one thing of note: The eastern element of the 930-foot pair of NE phased beverage elements has completely disappeared including the ground counterpoise. The western element is repaired/intact and wired for our evaluation and use for ARRL160.
Thanks everyone for coming.
Next event: ARRL160 CW - Friday December 5th.
