For Sale – Kenwood TS-930S $350 cash

Selling for the XLY from the estate of an SK friend.

The legendary TS-930S specs:

· 160m-10m including WARC bands

· General coverage Rx 150 Khz – 30 MHz

· Quadruple conversion superhetrodyne

· RF output was stated as 125W on CW, SSB, FSK, 25W on AM

· Built-in AC power supply.  No external 12V supply required.

This would make a good spare radio or starter radio for someone looking to get on HF.

All knobs, switches, and buttons appear to be intact.

The radio powers on and empty band noise is heard on the speaker but the XYL had no antenna and no way to actually test receive or transmit.  I have no idea if it has any installed filters or options.  I have a video of the radio powered up and empty band noise is audible on the built-in speaker.
