This is an indispensible tool
if you have HF antennas. I have the AA-55 Zoom and don’t know how I
got by before I had it. Not only can it measure antenna SWR, it can plot
the Smith chart for an antenna, measure tuned stubs, find the length of a piece
of coax (if you know the VF), find the VF of a piece of coax (if you know the
length), and several other useful tricks and measurements. If
you’ve been getting by with an MFJ 259, you might consider upgrading.
