QSL Team,
I will try to open up the site at 8:30am, but for sure plan to arrive by 9:00 AM.
I didn’t think much about anything special for breakfast. If anyone has any ideas let me know. I won’t really have any time to manage that.
Here is the basic “food and drink” plan for Saturday.
I picked up a few snacks (M&M’s mini-muffins) and a new case of water, can of coffee, milk and sugar. (coffee pot on site)
I saw that there was bottled water there but wasn’t sure how old it was so I got a new case.
Let’s remember that we can’t risk spilling liquid on the table, so PLEASE if you bring your own drinks, only those with a screw cap or a no-spill travel mug and we must work hard to avoid any liquid on the table. We should have paper towels etc at the site.
Same goes for coffee. PLEASE bring your favorite “NO SPILL” travel coffee mug. PLEASE NO SPILL
LUNCH: We will order from the local Italian restaurant that delivers. They have a variety ofsandwiches and other delicacies.
DINNER: If we need to stay late, we can probably order PIZZA’s.
Everything will be courtesy of the DXpedition team.
I have not gotten to the site yet to set things up. So, I am still not sure how that will go.
I will try to bring the cards, envelopes, labels to the site tomorrow, and arrange table/chairs to accommodate. Not sure if we will set up in the shack or the back room (or both) yet.
More later
See ya’ in the Pileups!
