Over the last few month, I had sent numerous emails and left voicemails to CQ circulation department with no reply.  I finally sent an email to Rich, W2VU, last month and received a reply from him that they "are working on it" and sent me links to the missing last 4 months editions.  Being the gentleman that I am, I didn't express my true feelings in the words that were rambling through my head.

I don't particularly care for digital versions.  I find them hard to read.  I also agree that I have PAID for a service that I am NOT receiving.  If they are not going to print magazines, they should state that and offer a rebate for those print subscriptions that have not been fulfilled.

I have subscribed to CQ for, uh, a hundred years and have usually found more that appeals to me than in QST. I have also maintained my subscription with the hopes that one of these days I would finally get the last 2 zones I need for 5BWAZ and save money on the award.

On a related note, last year, because of smaller issues and continuous subscription cost increases, I cancelled my subscription to the Press of Atlantic City.  That meant that for the first time in my life, spanning 60 years, that I was not getting a newspaper.  It seems to be the way PRINT journalism is heading.

I would hate to go that route with CQ.

Thanks Bob.

I have pretty much transitioned to online PDF's. I don't think QST or CQ can exist with printed versions in these days since many folks are resisting subscriptions increases.

However thanks for the info and I hope it's okay to pass your email on to others.  Yes or No?

SJDXA members,

For those of you missing print editions of CQ, full PDF’s are available for download for April thru July issues.

Just go to https://cq-amateur-radio.com and go to the bottom of the page.

I do NOT know any current status on the print editions. But thought that some of you might like to at least be able to download these.

73!

See ya’ in the Pileups,
