The FALL SJDXA WORD CHALLENGE started November 1st.
I am currently at 50 completed so far.
(If you made the minimum of 25, please let me know. I misplaced my current record)
Review of the rules:
THE SJDXA FALL 2022 WORD CHALLENGE
Dates: November 1 through December 31, 2022
GOAL: To work as many calls that include a full word in the callsign suffix.
RULES:
Examples: WA2PAM is not allowed because PAM is a proper name and has no definition as a word.
WA2BOB is allowed because it has a dictionary definition as a verb (bob for apples)
WA2XON cannot count for “ON”. XON is not a word. You must use the entire suffix.
WA2BLE cannot count for ABLE since the only letters in the suffix are BLE (not a word)
VA3IDD OK since IDD is an abbreviation with NO punctuation, thus it is considered a word in Cambridge (noun) (International Direct Dialing)
Further examples or adjustments will be provided if necessary.
GOALS:
Certificates will be provided with endorsements for accomplishing “25 QSO” levels. (25,50,75,100 etc) with no ceiling.
