Subject: [CDXAmembers] XX9W Macau


Dear dxer friends and colleagues of CDXA, after more than a year of inactivity 

due to the loss of our beloved EA5RM team leader Tony, DXfriends are back 

on track for a new expedition. I will be active with them from Macau with 

callsign XX9W on all bands and modes (SSB CW FT8 maybe possible RTTY). 

This country is ranked 29th for DXCC's most wanted list for North America, 

so I hope to make some of you happy. Unfortunately, the 60 meters do not 

seem to be granted by the authorities, but if it is possible we will certainly 

try this band too. Activity will be continuously monitored with the Club log 

live stream, including the online log. 

 

Tomorrow evening I with the whole 

team will gather in Madrid in Spain and the next day we will fly to Istanbul 

(Turkey). The next day we will leave on a flight to Hong Kong and then by 

minibus we will arrive in Macau. Luckily the air route will not fly over the 

Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iran and the Middle East, but we will pass over. 

This didn't reassure my family, but let's go anyway!
