[SJDXA] Hurricanes Helene & Milton

In spite of hurricane Helene and hurricane Milton I will be able to participate in the PAQP this weekend.  We had 60 mph winds with 80 mph gusts for close to 5 hours along with 10” of rain.  My 89’ tower was nested at 23’ and my 80m vertical was tipped over.  I'm happy to report that my home and antennas all survived without damage.  Lots of trees down and debris everywhere.  We have been without commercial electricity since Wednesday afternoon but thankfully we have a 22k Generac generator and a 500 gal propane tank.  We live in the country so I do not expect commercial power until Monday or Tuesday if we are lucky.  

Many others were not so lucky, George K5KG who lives on Siesta Key whom many of you know lost all his antennas and his home took on several inches of water during both hurricanes.  Dan K1TO lost his 6m antenna and hopefully nothing else.  There are others that were not so lucky.  Hope you all have a great weekend!
