[SJDXA] New QTH

That was a commonly heard term when I lived in Charlotte.  I wasn't a halfback, however.  Transferred to NC, lived there 20 years and then came home to South Jersey.

Quite a few back I read an article called "Halfway Back", in essence it was about northerners moving to Florida, staying a few years and moving halfway back. I was trying to find the article and found a more recent article that I thought you might be interested in reading.
