I’m stunned. Fred is in my log many times, from many places. Some of those qsos were more than contest exchanges. Those are the ones I value. And running into him at conventions. 

As I say of those that deserve it, he was one of the good ones. I will miss talking to him. Or the real quick “5905 Steve.”  

Yes, we have definitely lost one of the good ones
