To commemorate the Battle of Vertières (November 18, 1803), the Radio Club of Haiti was allocated the special callsign; HH18NOV; for the period from 18 to 27 November 2022.

The Battle of Vertières was fought at Vertières near Cap-Français in northern Haiti on November 18, 1803. It opposes the troops commanded by General de Rochambeau (sent by Napoleon) to those of General Jean-Jacques Dessalines. This was the last battle of the Santo Domingo expedition.
