[SJDXA] IARU HF Log Upload FAILURE

Received an email today regarding the 2022 IARU log submissions.
If you submitted a log for the 2022 IARU held last weekend, read and check the link in the forwarded message body below to see if your call is listed.
If not, you need to re-submit your log entry.

I was shocked to read on one of the popular forums that there had been a significant malfunction in the ARRL log upload system during the first 20 hours after the end of the IARU HF contest.  It seems that even if you received a confirmation e-mail, if you submitted your log during that period, there was a near certainty that your log got dumped rather than stored.  I went to this page https://contests.arrl.org/logsreceived.php  to check and sure enough, my call sign was not listed as log received.  I immediately uploaded my log again, and now my call sign appears on that list.

I cannot believe that the league did not notify the affiliated clubs and members via e-mail about this major screw-up.  I am the president of an affiliated club and I frequently receive emails from the league and / or my section manager for things with far less potential impact than this.  There has not been any mention of extending the 7 day submission deadline, which I also find incredible.


All I can say to my fellow ops is check the log submission page ASAP to see if you are on it. There may only be 48 hours left to submit your logs if the league chooses to further ignore their mistake.
