Thanks Bob,
Interesting chart with some minor errors:
The RJ45 and RJ11 (no dash) connectors shown are actually RJ45S and RJ11S.
These have an additional key on one side.
The digital audio RCA plug (4th down, right side) carries a signal known as
SPDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface). This is the same data format as
TOSLINK but over copper instead of fiber.
"Composite Audio/Video" is a misnomer. It is the video that is composite,
not the audio. It should be "Composite video and analog unbalanced audio"
It doesn't really do the SCSI connectors justice. When it was all the rage,
I dealt with at least 10 different types of SCSI connectors.
USB is way out of date.
HDMI comes in 3 sizes; standard, mini, and micro.
I've attached an updated image with more SCSI and USB connector types. SCSI
is an anachronism today but USB abounds.
If anyone ever wants to take a trip down the optical connector rabbit hole
let me know. We'll talk about SC, ST, LC, FC, MTRJ, etc. and all of the
green APC variants. I have a document I made that helps differentiate them
all if anyone is interested.
