SJDXA members,
I apologize for the delay.
I know that some of you have asked for SJDXA QSL verification stamps..
As some of you may know, the regular fellow that I was using to handle
making our SJDXA QSL verification rubber xstamper stamps retired. But he
gave me the contact information at the company who makes the stamps.
I called them today and have set up the process for ordering them.
I did not get pricing, however you can figure on about $20 or so each.
These are the 5/8" across round SJDXA - QSL design that we have been using
for a long time. These will be personalized with YOUR call. We use only red
ink so that the print on the label will show through in case you stamp on
the log data. (see attached image)
These rubber stamps last quite a while with the ink that comes with them
inside. But it is important that you only use XSatmper brand ink refills.
Also worth noting, these stamps do NOT require much pressure when
imprinting. Do not press hard!
I always have red ink on hand, so if your stamp ever fades and needs a
refill, let me know and I will bring some to a meeting.
Or, we can order refill ink for you. The price for a 10 ml tube is about
$4.00
I am now prepared to put together an order.
I do NOT need money just yet. Once I have the list to order, I will get the
ball rolling.
Please let me know ASAP if you want one made for your call.
Let's set a deadline of Wednesday January 15.
If this works out well, we might be able to help make up other stamps if you
wish. Return address for example. But let's just do the QSL stamps this time
around.
See ya' in the Pileups!
73!
