Mail Suspensions for International delivery effective 03 April 2020

 

Effective until further notice the USPS has stopped accepting mail bound for
a list of countries.  This will be for the duration of the Corona issues.

 

The complete list is published on the USPS Website.  USPS.COM

This will not apply to diplomatic pouches and mail bound for US Military at
APO or FPO addresses.

 

 


Temporary Service Suspensions


The Postal ServiceT received notice that various international postal
operators can no longer process or deliver mail or services originating from
the U.S. due to coronavirus-related service disruptions. These issues affect
all international mail services except GXG. 

As of April 3, 2020, we cannot accept at any Post OfficeT facility any
items, except GXG, destined for the

affected countries listed below. Please do not attempt to send an item
addressed to any of these countries. If you do, the item will be returned to
you. 


Returns & Refunds


For any returned item bearing a customs form, the Postal Service will, upon
request, refund postage and fees on mail returned due to the suspension of
service. For all other returned items not bearing a customs declarations
form, the Postal Service will, upon request, refund postage and fees on an
item returned due to the suspension of service, or you may resend the item
with the existing postage once service has been restored. If you choose to
resend the item later, you must cross out the markings "Mail Service
Suspended - Return to Sender."
