The December SJDXA meeting will be held on Wednesday January 8th at 10:00 AM at the site due to our normal meeting day would be on Christmas Day and the following Wednesday would be New Year’s Day.  Our annual election will be held at the January 8th meeting. 
Next, now is the time to set aside the CQWW 160 SSB CONTEST dates for our multi-op effort. We will setup on Friday February 21st during the day, the contest starts at 2200utc (5pm) and runs straight through Sunday February 23rd. We usually finish around 9 or 10 AM Sunday. This is a 48 hour contest with a 40 hour time limit.  Thus if we run straight through from the start, we will run all day on Saturday and end at 1400 utc (9:00 am) on Sunday morning. 
We will take a head count in January sometime but wanted you to put the contest in your calendar early if you plan to participate. 
FYI, last year we were FIRST PLACE USA.  We’ve been doing this since 2004.  Go to our web page under contest activity for a compilation of our scores since then.  www.sjdxa.org
We won 1st Place USA 6 times. 
Regardless, it is awesome fun using the mega 160 setup from our site.
