[SJDXA] Museum Ships activity cancelled

SJDXA members;

Since we only had a few responses when asking about activating the Coast
Guard Lifeboat at the Tuckerton Seaport for Museum Ships Weekend, Steve
(KWR) and I have decided to pass on it this year.

We will try again next year. At least we got the Lifeboat approved for the
event.

The annual activity commemorating US National Lighthouse-Lightship Weekend
from the Tucker's Island Lighthouse at the Seaport is set for August 4th.
www.arlhs.com  Plenty of time to plan for it. We secured our special event
call W2T for August 3-5, but we are presently only planning on operating on
Saturday August 4th. 

If OBARC does an activity as N2OB from the Old Barney lighthouse, it would
be on August 18th (rain date August 19th) to coincide with International
Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend to be held on that weekend. www.illw.net  TBD.

Of course, all SJDXA members are welcome to participate and we will keep you
informed on status.
