[SJDXA] SJDXA K3 update

I spoke with someone at Elecraft the other day about the SJDXA K3. They have a flat rate charge of $99 to update the radio with all current mods. This includes replacing the tin plated pins with gold pins which is the probable cause of our occasional “cutting out” problem. But the $99 also includes other mods and even possible board replacements. 
Our serial number is quite low (in the 500’s as I recall) so quite a few mods would be done. 
I forgot to ask at the last meeting. I expect the cost after adding shipping both ways to be about $200. 
Does anyone have any issue doing this? Now would be as good a time as any to get it done.  We have a backup radio onsite.
