>From Steve and I:
Good Morning SJDXA Membership,
In less than a month is the annual IARU World HF Championships. I always do this contest from the SJDXA Contest Station to at least give a run at it for the 24 hours. Good thing is there is nothing to setup….already done and a simple flip of a power supply switch and we are up and running. We have capability for all bands possible also…yes 160m is available but not the delta loop but a 160m-6m dipole is on location and is the primary digital antenna so we are good to go.
So…if you would like to participate please let me know. I do not treat this as a Contest as it is but more of a “Contest College” environment to learn about how Contesting is. Best part….you are never under pressure and mistakes can be made and learned from all at the same time. Once I have a count of people coming will arrange for a 6ft sub from Wal-Mart or Jersey Mikes.
We will be inviting Old Barney ARC members (and anyone else interested) to join us.
73,
Steve KI4KWR

See ya' in the Pileups!
