Yes this is normal behavior for satellite operators that live in apartments or condos or don’t have much of a home station. There is a thread on the AMSAT facebook page about Walmarts located on grid line junctions.

Okay…laugh all you want but Wal-Mart actually does know about this from somebody at the Corporate level and may actually allow a setup in the Parking Lots this summer…..guess this is not a joke.
