Hi SJDXA,

Announcing the SJDXA BBQ! 

Sunday July 30th 

Afternoon time schedule,
 1-1:30 +- arrive, 
cook 2:30-3 +-
I guess. Finish whenever. Pool will be open, bring a towel and bathing suit. 😕
To be held at the QTH of John K2TQN and Sherry! This is a family friendly affair! Also feel free to bring anybody interested in DX and/or joining SJDXA. BUT WE NEED YOUR RSVP SO WE KNOW HOW MUCH FOOD TO GET. SEE BELOW. SJDXA will be providing the gourmet burgers, dogs, corn on the cob. You can bring anything you like to share.  Salads, side dishes,  snacks, deserts, up to you. 

Enclosed Google Map.  The intersection at Warf Road needs caution, fast moving cars on 559 and limited vision towards Somers Point due to a large old house right next to the road.

Menu will be Gourmet Hamburgers, hotdogs, Sherry's home made Potato Salad, Corn on the Cob, plus anything else that is brought by attendees. We have lots of Pepsi and bottled water. A large Coke cooler can hold additional beverages. Anyone wanting beer or wine must bring their own, cooler space available.

I will probably need assistance grilling the burgers, hopefully someone will help me.

It will be high tide during the BBQ, and fishing is permitted on floating dock. Bring your pole. Expect Perch and Catfish and smaller fish. Salt water, no license required. (Floating Dock has a list and is not level, caution.)

In the event of predicted RAIN, the BBQ may be postponed. I will notify all who RSVP via email. And make an appropriate announcement on the SJDXA discussion list.

My property backs up to English Creek, tidal water, and we have a pool. Feel free to bring your bathing suit! Caution around water.

Also as we are in the woods, so to speak, examine yourselves for ticks when you get home.
