I felt your pain Bob. I went through the same thing when I first tried to get OTH in Palm Coast. A very helpful ham worked for the Electric company as an interference investigator. It took him about 3 months to get me into his schedule, I really didn’t care as I headed north for the summer. When he got to it, was fixed in two days. I had returned there for the winter about a week earlier, passed by the trouble spot, on the way home and there were three trucks working the problem.
Funny thing about this , he wouldn’t tell me where the problem was after he found it, I found it myself in about 15 minutes with a mobile. It was about ¾ mile from my house and S7. The president of our radio club there lived about ¼ mile from the spot and said he didn’t have a problem?? Anyway all has been well since the two transformers were replaced….

I have been off the air since November 17, due to electrical RFI of S9+15 on all frequencies from AM BC to 220MHZ. Yesterday the local Co-op came by to repair the problem, a bad transformer.
To get them here I had to call 6 times and send 2 e-mails to the CEO of the Electric Co-op, Lee County Electric Co-op. They came out yesterday morning first they changed the insulators and switch with no change. Then they changed the transformer and the RFI stopped.
Glad to have my station back!
