SJDXA Members;

I have received the following from John KE2OI regarding two amplifiers he
has for sale.

Per John's request, he is offering them to SJDXA members first. If no
response in several days, we will offer to OBARC members.

 

Due to health reasons, my doctor literally said no high power rf fields
after I made the recent tube purchase.  The doctors report hit this morning.


I have a converted Heathkit sb-221 (converted to 6 meters only) and just
replaced the tubes with less than 5 hours of use on them.  They are a pair
of RF parts 3-500ZG tubes.  A matched pair.  The converted amplifier,
converted to 6 meters by K1NG smoked the power supply this weekend.  That
being said, those tubes will play great in anything and are about a week
old.  They were $400 and I will let the amp go for $350 so you can fix the
power supply and run it on six or sell the amp and keep the tubes for your
amp.

Next, I have an AL-1500.  Single 8877 tube.  Please read the specs on the
Ameritron website http://www.ameritron.com/Product.php?productid=AL-1500. .
Asking $2,000 (these cost about $4,000 new).
