SJDXA members,
Here is a report on the YE1AR QSL cards that I ordered from www.gotprint.com
These cards were ordered last Wednesday afternoon online (November 16). They arrived today Tuesday (November 22). That's 6 days from order to delivery.
The quality is super as expected.
It is worth noting that the initial image upload was bounced back stating that a logo on the card was pixelated and that the logo's minimum resolution needed to be 300 dpi. I reviewed the images and opted to accept the proof as is since I didn't see anything of concern. All logos are clear on the printed card. One logo on the front has an issue that I missed where a portion of its black colored lettering was printed on a portion of black in the design. So this is something to be careful about in the future when doing the design work. But even with this problem the logo can be understood upon careful view.
Cost $100 shipped for 2,500 cards. Full high resolution color on both sides printed on a heavy glossy card stock. Full UV gloss on front. Uncoated but full color on rear (free option).
Here is a quick pic. Note that I opted not to include a label box this gives me a few benefits including easier ability to place multiple labels on the card, less care required trying to place the label inside a label box, freedom to place label strategically. An full color background image on the rear is a bonus in my opinion so covering parts of it is not a real problem IMHO. Full color rear printing cost is only a few dollars more overall and it makes for a real classy card.
