Anyone who might be available for an outdoor work party on Sunday, here is the info from W2GD.  
PLEASE let me know if you can help. I'll pass along. I will not be able to attend as I am recovering from some surgery and I am restricted to stay home. 


SUNDAY 9 AM  West Creek

Appears there will be enough attendees to have a productive work party.  Expected attendees W2CG W2GD W2NO K2TW KI4KWR and N2HM.  Others are welcome.

The emphasis will be erecting the TX array on the tower ... but other tasks like laying beverage coax, installing the HIZ 4 ele, etc. will be tackled as manpower and time permits.

Marty is bringing at least 700 feet of #12 wire for the new delta loop REF element.  First task will be build the delta loop to spec: 

Dan is bringing plexiglass end and center insulators for the delta, but if you have good quality glass or plastic insulators please bring them along.  Dan is also putting together an SO239 center insulator for the loop to expedite tuning.  It will be jumpered when 1830 is reached.   Optimized config: Each downleg is
 184 feet, base leg is 173 feet 

K2TW will bring along rope we have used for the delta ends.  IF anyone has a roll of paracord or nylon rope please bring along.

Dan is bringing two NEW 200' runs of white marine RG8X with bead chokes installed on the center insulator end.  A 3rd tested spar 200' run is also available.

Dan is bringing the refurbished vertical dipoles / slopers.

We all should bring hand tools and weatherproofing materials.  Pliers, dikes, long nose pliers, knife, etc.

Please bring test equipment like Antenna analyzers, VOMs etc. 

Someone please bring high wattage soldering equipment.
