I just received this from my friend Don K6IPV regarding the passing of Dave Bell W6AQ. Many of you may remember Dave as being the Hollywood producer/director who created many "Ham Radio" films such as "Ham Radio Today" featuring Walter Cronkite. 
I befriended Dave when he became interested in going on a DXpedition someplace with his friend Don K6IPV and he asked me about 9M6. I arranged for Dave and Don to stay with Alfons 9M6MU and Doris 9W6DU at their Hillview Gardens ARC (HGARC) station in Keningau Sabah East Malaysia. It became a favorite destination for Dave. He was a life member of HGARC.

> I was so pleased to have been able to spend a few hours visiting with him in mid-March.  He and I were able to revisit some of the times we spent together and to go over the joy of our trips to East Malaysia and Rarotonga Island in the South Cooks.

> Dave insisted that our trips (and he designated me as the travel agent !) had to be to places that had a runway long enough to handle a 737, at least two resorts that had quality dining room and absolutely no sharks at the nearby beaches !!
