SJDXA members:
All welcome to join us at the Seaport: August 6 (and maybe 7)
Our W2T activity at the Tuckerton Seaport is set. The Seaport is doing their
own "Lighthouse Day" on Sunday and we are welcome to be there on both days
(Saturday and Sunday) if we want. We will all make a final decision at the
OBARC meeting on August 2nd. I registered us in the ARRL's NPOTA (National
Parks on the Air) Event. We count for the New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail
(AA17) AND the Pinelands National Reserve (AA19).
Upon arrival, please go to the admission desk and check in. Tell them that
you are with the Old Barney Amateur Radio Club and they will give you a
wrist band. Or, if you wish to support the Seaport, you can just pay the
admission. Up to you.
For those coming for setup, we will start setup around 8AM. You must park in
the parking lot and walk down to the lighthouse via the walkways inside the
Seaport. Those bringing radios and/or antennas can drop them off at the gate
by the lighthouse, then park in the regular parking lot.
Any questions? Drop me an email.
See ya' in the Pileups!
73!
